Part 1:
Prepare and bring a 30-60 second solo (choreography or freestyle) to a track or mix of your choice. You may use any dance style/s you like, even if it’s not Hip-Hop. If you need help with this, contact Fresh Elements and we will give you some pointers on how to be successful.

Part 2:
Learn and perform a choreographed piece

In 2010, Fresh Elements will host the following programs:

  • Development Course (high school age and above)
  • Performance Program – mini (age 6-8)
  • Performance Program – primary (age 9-12)
  • Performance Program – high school (age 13-18)
  • Performance Program – open (age 18+)

What is the Development Course and Performance Program?

Development Course
This course provides a dancer with the knowledge and skills to be confident in areas such as freestyle, choreographing, mixing, production, acrobatics and various different Hip-Hop dance styles. In today’s competitive dance world, it is important for a dancer to be versatile and understand ‘how things work’ – this course will give you just that! Graduates of the Fresh Elements Development Course are our first point of contact for professional paid dance & related work. [ More information available on our website soon ]

Performance Program
Join a dance team and learn choreographed routines for use in festivals, shows, competitions, television and more! These teams are fun and exciting, and a great way to develop your dance & performance skill. Fresh Elements teams have a strong history of being at the elite end of Queensland’s Hip-Hop teams.
